Nestled in the forested hills above  La Center, WA - Northern Lights Recording Studio brings world class analog and the very latest in digital technology together to bring your projects to life.  Centered around a Trident 80 Series console that was once part of the famous "Rumbo Recorders" studio in Canoga Park, CA.  It was used on such great records as "Appetite for Destruction" (Guns and Roses) and Tom Petty's "Into the Great Wide Open" - which was tracked and mixed on the console.

With 1400 square feet of studio space, we can breathe air and space into your project.  This is especially important when recording acoustic instruments and drums - our specialty!

We offer services as simple as adding vocals to a pre-recorded backing tracks, all the way up to full band recording, mixing, and mastering.  Whether you want to record fully analog on our Ampex ATR-124 2 inch 24 track tape machine, fully digital, or anything in between, we have you covered. Contact us today to schedule a free studio tour and consultation of your project.
